All Users - Must Accept New Digital Security Certificate 2007

The policies and documents published on this site have been formatted to a policy template. To manage security and authenticity, a digital security certificate has been attached to the template. The certificate has been renewed for 2007. When you open a document for the first time this year, a dialogue box will appear. Tick the box "Always trust macros from this source" and click on "Enable Macros", and the document will open. Policy authors writing a new policy document will also need to do this the first time the template is opened.

Termination of Regulatory Framework System

On Friday 8 September 2006 the RFS web site address will be terminated and this will disable all policy links. Please ensure that all web sites and documents reflecting any policy links have been updated to the new Our Policies system prior to this date. CD-ROM versions of RFS are invalid and must be disposed of.

Printing Documents - important information

When you print a policy document each page will include the text "uncontrolled when printed". The electronic version of the policy in the Our Policies web system is the official document. This phrase is part of managing authenticity, quality and version of policy documents. More importantly, this phrase means that after you have printed off this document and need to refer to it at a later date, you must check the currency of the document online, otherwise it is not guaranteed that you are accessing the current policy
