TAFE Lecturers’ Supplementary Conditions Agreement 2005

Teacher Qualifications

The requirement for teachers to have a qualification is stated in Section 235 (2) of the School Education Act 1999. “A person is not to be employed as a member of the teaching staff unless the person holds a qualification recognized by the Chief Executive Officer as being an appropriate qualification”.
