This revised policy reflects procedural changes of the Equal Opportunity Commission. When constructing new facilities and undertaking maintenance, structural alterations and additions to facilities, TAFE colleges will strive to achieve best practice universal access through : complying with and/or exceeding requirements of all Acts, Regulations, Standards and Codes relating to universal access to land and buildings; engaging specialist access consultants when required; and consulting with people with disabilities.
