Summary: 2006 Review of the Nutritional Value of Food Sold in School Canteens: Final Report
Description
In May 2006, all public, independent and Catholic schools were sent a survey from the Department of Education and Training requesting information about canteen operations and the types and quantities of food and drinks sold. Extensive consultation occurred with health and nutrition experts, education and curriculum experts, canteen managers and staff, members of the food industry, and parents.
